Gymnastics, in CrossFit, is any movement that moves your own body-weight. Pull-ups, Push-ups, Air Squats, Burpees, Muscle-ups to name a few.
Each gymnastic movement has a scaling option, where we can alter the load, complexity and other variables to start you where you are right now and slowly improve, safely and over time.
We always help build a foundation of body-weight strength through strict movements. There is a sense of achievement being able to do a full body-weight push-up, or get your first unassisted pull-up, or one day progress to movements like a rope climb or muscle-up.
