All you need is a water bottle, a towel and suitable training gear and we take care of the rest!
Each class goes for one hour. We start with a brief of the class, and then take you through a Trainer-lead Warm-up and some technique practice on the more complex movements, to ensure you are moving safe and have a BASIC understanding.
We then take you through a 'Strength & Technique' piece, in the beginning, this will be more of a technique piece, we stay light and easy, as we learn and adapt to the movements, and over time it will become more Strength and Technique as you build your strength and confidence.
We then complete the Workout of the Day (WOD). We have 4 main options, starting from RX 0 up to RX 3, each option increasing in load, volume and complexity, so you can always progress. We also scale (which means change) the workout to suit YOU, your current fitness, skill, strength, even likes, dislikes and goals, so no matter where you are at, or where you want to go, we can help you achieve your goals and so much more.
Each class the workouts, movements, duration...everything changes, to keep you motivated, and never bored. You will find CrossFit Abode to be a very friendly, fun and social place to be, a place where you WANT to come and spend time, getting fit with amazing people, so training is not a chore, more a hobby.
