Welcome to CrossFit Abode! Our goal is to provide a fun, educational and friendly environment to all of our members so you get the absolute most out of your health and fitness. You can now come to any of our class times, which can be found on our website at: https://www.crossfitabode.com/timetable/
Coming to your first few classes can be daunting and you will almost definitely be a little nervous and not know what to expect. This is normal! When you arrive at the gym for the first time, the trainers will most likely be on the floor taking a class, but don’t worry, some one will be with you very shortly to give you a gym intro brief.
If you start by signing in on the iPad in the office, put your gear in the locker room, make sure your water bottle is full and there is some mobility equipment in the blue blue baskets if you would like to use.
Once the class starts you will simply hear the trainer call ‘bring it in’ and the class will gather around the TV’s for a brief on the workout. Here you will be explained the movements, range of motion, technique and scaling. Scaling is the most important part of our program, this is where we alter the reps, weight or even movements to suit your current fitness level.
Once the brief is complete, we will take you through a group warm up, don’t worry we will explain and demonstrate everything so you will always know what to do.

Our main means of communication is via social media, Facebook and Instagram. If you have not done so already, please like our pages! To make sure our posts always show up on your news feed, please like our posts as much as possible so you don’t miss out on any important information.
We also have a CrossFit Abode Members Only page, this is for all CrossFit Abode members and here we pass on any information, specials, news that only our members need to see.
Another way we do this is to make sure if you need to pause, cancel or change your membership at any time, it is easy and hassle free. You will see on our website, there is a members area. Here you can see the WOD (Workout of the Day) and you can submit a request for a Membership Hold and Membership Cancellation no questions asked!
